El Gouna Squash Open 2021

El Gouna, Red Sea

El Gouna, Orascom Development’s flagship town, is hosting the 9th edition of the El Gouna International Squash Open from 20th to 28th May, with 96 male and female squash stars lining up at the PSA World Tour Platinum event.

$300,000 in total player compensation will be up for grabs, while the ninth edition of the tournament tournament will be the first sporting event to be held in the Gouna Conference and Culture Center (GCCC).

CIB Egypt Open

The Commercial Bank of Egypt (CIB) announces the return of the “CIB Egyptian Squash Open” Men’s and Women’s Platinum event by the iconic Pyramids of Giza, for the second year in succession. The event will be organized by I-Events and will take place from 10th to 17th October 2020.

The tournament is considered one of the 8 biggest platinum events in the world, bringing together the best 96 men and women squash players from 19 different countries, with a total prize money of $540,000 for both Men and Women. This is the largest sum of prizes for squash tournaments this season since the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak. The early round matches will be taking place at New Giza Sporting Club, while matches at the Glass Court will commence on October 12th.

Manchester Open 2020

Manchester, England

The PSA World Tour will make a long-awaited return when the world’s top players line up at the Manchester Open, PSA Silver tournament from 16th to 22nd  September as the six-month suspension of professional squash due to the global COVID-19 pandemic comes to an end.

The tournament, originally scheduled for May 2020, will be held behind closed doors, will be delivered in partnership with Manchester City Council and will follow strict COVID-19 protocols to ensure the health and safety of all players and on-site staff.
